SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

The 2025 Paris Mayors Summit Against Antisemitism agenda is purpose-built to equip mayors and local leaders with real-world tools, connections, and strategies to combat antisemitism in their cities. Through inspiring keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking gathering, you’ll gain practical insights you can immediately apply back home.

Topics will include Jewish Heritage, Security, Digital Threats, and Educational Initiatives.

    Kick off the Summit with a welcome coffee, bringing together mayors, municipal leaders, and
    partners ahead of the opening session. This informal gathering offers the opportunity to
    reconnect, network, and set the tone for a day of di
    alogue and shared commitment.

    10:00am – 10:30am | Opening Plenary
    Set the tone by outlining the urgency of the moment, current trends in global antisemitism,
    and the essential role of municipal leaders in turning the tide.

    10:35am – 10:50am | Keynote

    11:00am – 11:45am | Panel 1: From National Strategies to Local Action
    Explores how national and European strategies are being implemented or must be adapted
    at the municipal level. Officials will share practical approaches to translating policy into
    tangible civic action and the tools needed to succeed.

    11:45am – 12:00pm | Keynote by European Memory Data Space project

    12:00pm – 12:15pm | Coffee Break 

    12:15pm – 1:00pm | Panel 2: Cities Embracing Jewish Heritage: Culture as a Tool Against Hate
    Showcase how cities preserve and promote Jewish heritage as a vital element of civic
    identity. Through examples from across Europe, including the European Days of Jewish
    Culture, speakers will illustrate how cultural inclusion can serve as a powerful tool to prevent
    hate and foster belonging.

    2:00pm – 2:45pm | Panel 3: Security, Enforcement, and Digital Threats: Protecting Jewish Communities Today
    Address the growing spectrum of threats confronting Jewish communities, from violent assaults to online hate networks, and discuss how local and national authorities can strengthen protection and democratic resilience.

    2:45pm – 3:30pm | Panel 4: Universities at the Crossroads: Confronting Antisemitism
    Explores how cities can preserve and promote Jewish heritage as a living part of civic identity. Emphasizing cultural inclusion as a powerful tool for cities to combat hate, speakers
    will present best practices from across Europe, including initiatives such as the European Days of Jewish Culture, which activate heritage and culture at a grassroots level in dozens
    of cities each year. 

    3:30pm – 4:00pm | Open Mic Session: Mayors Against Antisemitism
    Engage mayors in an interactive open-mic workshop to exchange ideas, experiences, and best practices for implementing effective local responses to antisemitism, inspired by the CAM Municipal Action Plan.

    4:15pm – 5:00pm | Panel 5: Safeguarding Dialogue – Responding to Boycotts in Culture, Arts and Sports

    5:00pm – 5:30pm | Award Ceremony and Speeches
    A moment of recognition honoring outstanding leadership and moral courage in fighting antisemitism: Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice (France), and Lorenzo Rodríguez, Mayor of Castrillo Mota de Judíos (Spain).

    5:30pm – 5:45pm | Closing speech

    7:30pm - 10:30pm | Closing Dinner and Jazz Concert
    Conclude the Summit aboard the Seine, celebrating artistic freedom and dialogue with a jazz performance led by Belgian musician Jeremy Dumont, featuring artists who have faced boycott calls.

    Discover Paris’ Jewish Quarter through a special visit including the Paris Museum of Jewish Art and History, hidden synagogues, and stops along the Stolpersteine project.
